Trees In The Winter: What Are They Doing?
An interesting fact about trees in the winter is that many trees "sleep" during this time, entering a state known as dormancy. In winter, trees stop growing and conserve energy by slowing down their metabolic processes. Their leaves fall off (in deciduous trees), and they go into a state of rest to survive the cold months.
Interestingly, although it seems like they're inactive, trees are still at work—they continue to take in water from the soil, though they use it sparingly, and some species even take up water to help prevent freezing by adjusting their internal temperatureBe clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
